1. Refunds for Digital Services

a) Subscription Services (Weather, Market Information, Digital Advisory)

Free Trial Period: Customers are encouraged to use the 30-day free trial, where available, before subscribing.
Non-refundable Periods: Once payment is made for weekly, monthly, or yearly subscriptions, the fee is non-refundable, except in cases of:
Service non-delivery (e.g., if the customer receives no messages for a continuous period of 7 or more days).
Proven technical errors caused by our system that prevent service access.

 

2. Refunds for Physical Products

a) Agricultural Inputs, Devices, and Tools

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Product is damaged, defective, or not as described upon delivery.
  • Request is made within 7 days of receiving the product.

Conditions for Approval

  • The item must be unused, in original packaging, and returned to our nearest agent or hub.
  • Provide proof of purchase (receipt or transaction code).

M-Omulimisa will

  • Offer a replacement, or
  • Provide a full refund to the original payment method.

b) Perishable Goods (e.g., Yogurt, Fresh Produce)

Due to the nature of perishables:

  • No refunds are issued unless the product is spoiled at the time of delivery.
  • Complaints must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with supporting photos if possible.

3. Products Sold on Credit or Through Partners

For items sold on credit or through financing arrangements (e.g., solar systems):

  • Refunds may be subject to the terms of the credit agreement signed at the time of purchase.
  • If the product is faulty and reported within 14 days, we may offer repair, replacement, or refund after inspection.

4. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • User errors (e.g., subscribing to the wrong package).
  • Missed information due to poor network or SIM card issues not caused by us.
  • Products damaged by improper use.
