- Wetter than usual conditions expected over parts of Eritrea, Djibouti, western to northern Ethiopia, isolated areas of central South Sudan, western, southern, and isolated areas of eastern Tanzania.
- Drier than usual conditions expected over Uganda, southern South Sudan, southern Ethiopia, central to northern Somalia, western and south-eastern Kenya, Rwanda, Burundi, and northern Tanzania.
Temperature Forecast
- Warmer than usual conditions expected over most parts of the region.
- Average to cooler than usual temperatures likely to be recorded over most part of Ethiopia and north-eastern Kenya, extending to adjacent areas of Somalia.
